At GTI, safety is more than a set of procedures. It’s a priority. That’s why our safety program is engrained in everything we do, beginning with the moment of hire.
Training & Certifications
Every employee receives a safety manual upon hire and all field employees are required to complete training with our Safety Manager on the proper operation of each piece of equipment and appropriate use of PPE. These principals are reinforced in our weekly tailgate sessions for all field employees and in seasonal specialty trainings.
In addition to ongoing training to instill safety best practices, our teams also receive ongoing training in horticultural best practices, including:
- Local UNCE landscape and horticulture training for foremen in plant identification, proper pruning techniques, and common pest and disease recognition
- Manager participation in annual Desert Green conferences, for the latest in soil chemistry and plant biology

Fleet
We’re proud to maintain a large modern commercial fleet to provide our clients with the safest, most reliable service. We employ a team of mechanics and have a fully stocked maintenance shop to ensure all our trucks and equipment are regularly inspected and serviced. Plus, we have on-site fueling stations which reduce our fuel expense, a savings we’re able to pass along to our clients.
